Let us now talk about Content Hub One that was recently launched by Sitecore.

What is Sitecore Content Hub One?

Recently the Sitecore community came together for its biggest event of the year, Sitecore Symposium. This was their flagship user conference (which they hold every year but was not hosted for the past 2 years due to Covid) where they see how their products have transformed and discuss insights about the future of Sitecore.

A major part of the keynote speech was about launching 3 new, game-changing products of Sitecore – Content Hub, Sitecore Search, and Sitecore Connect.

Content Hub One is basically a pure-play, headless Content Management System. Through this, you can create and deliver relevant content for any digital channel of your choice. Content authoring has been made effortless and content modeling has been made flexible.

The management of content has also been made API-based with agile devOps for the builders. It has been made lightweight for an omnichannel world.

Let us understand a few of its perks, features and benefits:

Modular Content Made Easy

The Content Hub One provides an intuitive interface that makes it easy for one to create dynamic content models that are fit for a variety of channels.

Content Authoring Made Effortless

There are many content creators and marketers working on campaigns. This is why they have simplified the content authoring job easy and effortless.

Reusable Omnichannel Content

You can serve up your content on different mediums such as the web app, kiosk, or even on voice assistants and then reuse it across different channels.

You Can Work Independently

Your content creators and marketers can work independently from the developers without having any dependencies in the tech team. They can focus on creating impactful content and building campaigns while the developers and the tech team can focus on building engaging experiences.

Content Hub One Is Language And Framework Agnostic

Your developers can leverage a rich set of SDKs as well as APIs for supporting popular front-end frameworks.

How is Content Hub One different from Content Hub?

At first glimpse, you might wonder if it is a rebranded version of the CMP capabilities of the Content Hub but if you look closely, this is not the case. The origin of this product is Content Hub yes, but this is a distinct product on its own where you can keep the DAM independent from the Content Hub One.

According to a press release made by Sitecore, the Content Hub One is a solution that will act as an entry point towards the Sitecore content portfolio allowing the customers to upgrade to the full capabilities of the Content Hub.

Content Hub One is meant to be perceived as a simpler service for now as from a perspective of features and functionality, it is very lightweight. Many features that are on the roadmap for this product are localization, field validation, bulk operations for publishing and uploading, and a more robust, field-type selection option.

Conclusion

As Sitecore is not only one of the leading digital experience providers in the world but also a trusted solutions provider, it is evitable that when you go for the Content Hub (DAM) you can be assured of a great product when getting hand-in-hand, the Sitecore Content Hub One.

Sitecore Content Hub One is a product that was launched just over a month back and is obviously in its initial stages. Still, it has a long way to go with many iterations of updates and developments.
